"Spirit of the Night"

This painting was inspired by one of my favorite works of artist John Atkinson Grimshaw. There is a cheap print hanging in my home that I have never been able to part with; something about it really speaks to me. Decided to try my own rendition and made a time-lapse video of the process which is posted on my Instagram page here.

Buddha Frog

​This little guy sits on the hutch in our living room. I put him in the sunshine and he seemed to be absorbing the energy, just as we would do. Doesn't he just make you feel happy and relaxed?
