Flower Bouquet

This painting feels like a culmination of all of the different things I have been working on. It's done with palette knife, but finally has the looseness I have been wanting. This larger scale allows for that. So enjoyed myself while painting this!

Poinsettia

Thought this would inspire the feeling of Christmas as it seems to be in the air already! So many people love to bring out their seasonal decor for the holidays. It's amazing how quickly the lights and trees have gone up--it has all snuck up on me this year!

Trumpet Vine

These gorgeous vines are a sight to see! Long ago I wanted to plant one in my own yard, until I learned how powerful the vine is. I've seen them growing on tipped fences, bent posts, and even up trees. You would need a pretty stable structure to withhold the strength of this vine.

This painting just flowed so easily--love when that happens!
