Glamour Girl

Went to a beautiful garden and shop this past weekend. The highlight for me was the lone chicken running around the plants. She stopped for a little photo session and was the most personable bird I'd ever worked with. :)

The Mill

When I want toast and coffee while at home in Wisconsin, I make it. If you want toast and coffee while in San Francisco, you go to The Mill. Delicious breads and coffees--I had some toast with almond butter and a latte; my sister had toast with blackberry jam and a cappuccino. All served on locally made stone dishes. It was a wet morning, but we sat outside and spilled our souls anyway. :)

Beckett the Boxer

This young lady was commissioned for a friend of my husbands. She is quite a talented dog, seen here balancing a piece of pepperoni on her nose. The word is she has steely will-power and will balance it there until told "ok" before attempting to flip it into her mouth. I love a pup with personality!

The Turkey Trot

This guy was doing his job so well! He and many females are often in or around our yard and we love when his feathers are open. He is very sure to block our view of the ladies while looking big and fearless at the same time.

Very impressive! ❤️

Queen Anne's Heirs

The little snow we had this year has melted, and we're busy waiting for green. In the meantime you can find me looking at the wildflower seeds, like these Queen Anne's Lace. Beautiful.

Squirrels

My mom has so many adorable little knick-knacks. These two little squirrel statues were basking in the sunlight of her window while I was there. There is nothing better to paint than something that makes me giggle.
