Glamour Girl

Went to a beautiful garden and shop this past weekend. The highlight for me was the lone chicken running around the plants. She stopped for a little photo session and was the most personable bird I'd ever worked with. :)

Plant Cart

Interior paintings are always very attractive to me. The other day this cart and plants had really nice lighting on them, so I thought I'd give it a try. Very different from what I typically paint...  A good challenge though, for sure.

Mermaid Moment

I adore this mermaid and her serene moment. She looks so tucked in, carefree with her relaxed pose, spiritual and knowing, just lazing the day away. Found her at the Northwind Perennial Gardens in Lake Geneva, one of my favorite places to visit.
